West Street is the famous street and is the place where we lived at Yangshuo. This is a amusing place, surrounded with so many beautiful nature scenes, contained so many different culture element but still reserved its unique flavor.

Yangshuo town borders the Li River on one side, and is situated on a small plain between a number of karst peaks. Two main roads run away from the water and form the central part of the town, Chinese Street (Dei Chui Lu) and West Street (西街, Xi Jie). Most foreign-oriented businesses, such as hostels, hotels, rock climbing companies, restaurants and entertainment venues, are situated on West Street or the pedestrian only Xian Qian Street which runs between Chinese and West Street.

Sweet Osmanthus Flower  is the city flower of Guilin. So there are many things that related to it. Such as the sweet osmanthus flower wine, biscuit, shortbread, tea and so on, Even some buildings are named after that. Here is a bridge called Sweet Osmanthus Flower Bridge.

OK, this is the most exciting place for the young visitors. Even you can say if you don’t come to visit one of the West Street bars, you are not visiting the West Street. (Actually this is just my saying )
This photo was taken in the day time. But when the sky get dark, here will be another completely different place. We went into this bar at about 11 o’clock. And just ordered two cups of wine and began to enjoy this fantastic feeling. There were so many foreigners came to here to drink and chat. The stage of this bar there was a young Chinese singer who was playing his guitar and singing. After sang a song, the singer would talk to the audiences in English (right, cause many audience are from different parts of the world). And sometime he will ask the audiences to follow him to sing togheter. And the reaction of the audiences were enthusiastic too. We adored the singer so much, he was so cool on the stage. The Bar was ,ull of music and happniess all the time.

OK, this is the last post of this Yangshou tour feature. I know it’s not enough to describe the whole tour and we traveled just a small scale of Yangshuo. We are looking forward to go to Yangshuo again and planning for that
