Hi, I put the 32-bit dependencies that are not automatically installable on 64-bit systems together with ppstream and a fixed .desktop launcher file in this package:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/971117/dev/ppstream_1.0.0-2%2Bxdg%7Eppa1_amd64.tar.gz
to “install”, do
cd /
sudo tar xzvf /path/to/ppstream_1.0.0-2%2Bxdg%7Eppa1_amd64.tar.gz
After this you should be able to find PPStream in your desktop menu.
